Celebrating Institutional Excellence and Achievement at the Faculty of Engineering
Under the patronage of Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, and Prof. Zeinab Feisal Abdelkader, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and in the presence of Prof. Ayman Abdelhamid, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. El-Sayed Ali Fouad, Former Dean of the Faculty, the Faculty of Engineering organized the “Institutional Excellence and Achievement Celebration” to honor distinguished members of the faculty community in recognition of their sincere efforts and outstanding accomplishments.
During the ceremony, the Faculty honored several groups and initiatives, including:
Academic programs that obtained quality assurance and accreditation certificates
The Institutional Excellence Team, on the occasion of achieving second place at the university level
Organizers and contributors to the “Made in Benha Engineering” initiative
Coordinators, trainers, and participants involved in training and capacity-building activities
Distinguished contributors in academic advising, psychological support, and the Ibn Al-Haytham system
Work teams that contributed to organizing and ensuring the success of the Second Scientific Conference of the Faculty
The editorial team of the Faculty Journal of Engineering Sciences and Technology
And all those whose efforts contributed to enhancing the Faculty’s achievements and reputation
The Faculty administration affirmed that this recognition reflects its belief that institutional excellence is the result of collective effort and integration of roles, and that appreciating such efforts serves as a true motivation for continued excellence and dedication.

Honoring an Inspiring Egyptian Role Model
As part of recognizing inspiring Egyptian role models, Mrs. Entissar El-Sisi, First Lady of Egypt, honored Prof. Ghada Amer, Former Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research at the Faculty of Engineering, Benha University, during the annual edition of the initiative “Egyptian Women… Icons of Success.”
This recognition comes in appreciation of her distinguished academic career and her valuable scientific contributions in supporting academic work and advancing scientific research.
The Faculty of Engineering – Benha University extends its sincere congratulations to Prof. Ghada Amer on this well-deserved honor, wishing her continued success and further achievements.

Official Holiday Announcement for Eid Al-Fitr
On the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr, the Prime Minister of Egypt has issued a decision declaring an official holiday for employees in the public sector.
According to the decision issued by Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, the period from Thursday, 19 March 2026, to Monday, 23 March 2026, will be an official paid holiday for employees working in ministries, government agencies, public authorities, local administration units, public sector companies, and public business sector companies.
The holiday comes in celebration of Eid Al-Fitr, and regular work will resume on Tuesday, 24 March 2026.
On this occasion, we extend our sincere wishes to Egypt and the Egyptian people for a blessed Eid.
